Many months ago I got one of these for myself, and I like it so much that I got this 4-pack to give as gifts.This multifunction switchblade-style divot-tool is awesome. Most divot tools poke holes in my pockets & jab my thigh, but this tool has retractable tines, so it’s comfortable and pocket-safe. The body of the tool seems to be made of aluminum (since it’s not magnetic) while the tines seem to be made of low-grade, slightly magnetic stainless steel. The divot tool is sturdy with a tine-thickness of (~1/16”, 2mm). I expect mine to be the only divot tool that I carry for the rest of my life.The tool has a built-in magnet that is set inside of a circular indentation so that it holds the steel ball-marker disc tightly flush. As a result, the ball-marker won’t come off unless you pull it off. It would be difficult to remove the flush-mounted disc except that one side of the disc-indentation is deeper than the other side, so if you press down on the deep side of the disc, then the other side rises so that it can be easily removed. It’s a simple but brilliant design.This set is for women so the ball markers are engraved on one side with fun phrases, mostly targeted at women golfers as can be seen in my photos, like “The girl’s got drive”, etc.The end of the divot tool (opposite the tines) has a semi-circular indentation so that the tool can be stabbed into the ground and act as a stand-off such that you can set a (cigar or a) club-grip on it (probably a putter or a 7-iron) in order to keep it off of wet grass,This tool has a strong switchblade action with sturdy, sharp tines. I was concerned that it might violate California’s switchblade law, but CA’s law allows switchblades with blades that are less than 2”. This tool’s tines are 1.75”.These are excellent divot tools at a great price. They make great gifts for golfers. 5-stars.
