Aeroplani-Fillia Futurism Ceramic Decorative Plate

A re-edition of a 1930s Aeronautical Futurism masterpiece, this hand-painted ceramic decorative plate reproduces Fillia’s iconic Aeroplani design from 1931. With its dynamic oblique lines and geometric forms, the piece evokes the energy of flight and the thrill of modernity. Created using traditional manual techniques, it reflects the historic collaboration between the Futurists—including Fillia, Depero, Diulgheroff, and Munari—and the Mazzotti family in Albisola, Italy. Faithful to the original drawings and materials, it carries forward a unique legacy of 20th-century Italian ceramic art. Mazzotti ceramics are featured in major museums worldwide, including the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York, which showcased them in the 2014 exhibition Italian Futurism, 1909–1944: Reconstructing the Universe.
